Zum and Bum were two odd people, they had no heartbeats, but they weren't even pale. They weren't vampires, and no they did not sparkle. WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK VAMPIRES SPARKLE? To vamps, that's borderline racist, all right?
"Say, Bum... why do people run away from us screaming?" Zum asked his companion Bum. Bum shrugged. She fixed the fluffiness of her dress and ran her fingers through dry hair, pieces of them fell out too. "Zum, I think we're dead."
"That's a no brainer!" Zum said laughing. He stopped abruptly and announced, "Speaking of which I'm craving some brains now... Bum, sweetheart I want brains."
